At this family-friendly hotel near the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden in Columbia, we experienced true southern hospitality. The convenient location off Interstate 26 made it easy to explore Lake Murray and enjoy water activities nearby. The nearby Colonial Life Arena and Segra Park provided exciting entertainment options for the whole family.

My wife says that more kid-friendly amenities like a playground would be great.

We hit up the arena for an epic game and caught some sick water adventures nearby. Total vibe! The location near the University and downtown was clutch for our crew.

Had a pool and exercise room making it easy to stay active during my new year getaway. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and shopping centers. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep.

The cleanliness was a major issue as I encountered roaches in the bathroom and on the tables. The bedding wasn't changed during my stay, and there were instances of uncleanliness in common areas such as the elevator.

So, we recently stayed at the Baymont and let me tell you, it was an interesting experience. Let's start with the good stuff first. The room had an ironing board which was super handy, and the heating worked like a charm. We also appreciated the fact that the air conditioning was effective, keeping us cool during the warm evenings. But, there were definitely some areas that needed improvement. The bathtub was a bit disappointing with some dark mold on the caulk, and the free toiletries could have been better quality. the rooms were not soundproofed well, so we could hear noise from the hallway quite easily. I must say, I did enjoy the flat-screen TV in the room, and the housekeeping staff were friendly and did a good job tidying up. I was a bit surprised by the lack of room service options available, especially for late-night cravings. the Baymont had its ups and downs.

Explored State House and Fort Jackson. Enjoyed free parking, outdoor pool, and daily breakfast. Took advantage of the free shuttle service to the airport. Visited Lake Murray for boating. The hotel's business center and express check-out were convenient.

The hotel had a collection of unique characters in the lobby.

The location of the hotel was in a safe area and the room provided a clean and comfortable stay. I appreciated having a refrigerator in the room for storing medications, and the bed was quite comfortable for a good night's sleep.

The overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. The hallways and carpets were dirty, with some areas smelling badly.

we had a fairly nice stay at Baymont. great location near a Walmart and within a 10-15 min drive to downtown, the zoo, etc. the staff was very friendly and helpful. the rooms were spacious and quiet. breakfast was pretty good with a nice pool and courtyard. always able to find parking near our room entrance and you need a key card to access the back doors.

As a budget traveler, I found Baymont By Wyndham to be a decent choice. The convenient location near a shopping center and movie theater made it easy to find everything I needed. The spacious suite had a comfortable bed, and I loved being able to access the pool from my room. The staff tried their best to accommodate my concerns and even offered a partial refund. it was a satisfactory experience for a budget-conscious traveler like me.

The cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. While the manager did her best to rectify the situation, the hotel should have been better maintained overall.
